It relied on information from multiple sources, including diaries from men who were members of the expedetion. It was a little slow going at first, as he filled in the background historically, politically and personally in Magellan's life. The mix of greed, curiosoity and nationalism, among other traits, that made people pursue the spice islands and explore the world around them with inadequate information.Amandanoreply@blogger.com
